Director
Mark Murphy brings with him over 15 years of expertise in the art and gallery sector, specialising in integrating emerging technologies into creative environments.
Since joining FACT Liverpool as Technical Manager, Mark has played a pivotal role in overseeing the technical aspects of exhibitions, public programs, and residencies. He manages a diverse team responsible for project planning, installation, and ongoing maintenance, ensuring seamless execution of FACT’s artistic vision and streamlining FACT's production pipeline, bringing all aspects of exhibition design and installation in-house. His advanced proficiency in CAD has been instrumental in visualising and refining exhibitions remotely.
Beyond his technical acumen, Mark is actively involved in the local creative community, fostering collaborations and exploring the intersection of technology and art. His strategic vision and dedication to innovation continue to elevate FACT’s profile as a leading institution at the forefront of digital arts.

Director
Dave has 20 years of experience in arts and music production and has helped realise the technical aspects of countless exhibitions and events in the UK and world-wide.
Having previously worked primarily as a sound engineer, he became involved in gallery and museum installations in 2008 and went on to work for the Barbican Centre’s international department as an audio-visual technician, installing multi-disciplinary exhibitions in venues around the globe. He has been working as a freelance AV consultant and production manager for various arts organisations and individuals in Liverpool and London since 2016.
